The recreated Black Watch of 1918 is looking for men of good character to join our ranks and give the Hun a damn good thrashing twice a year at Newville.
We welcome committed and dedicated living historians (and those who would like to be) who are man enough to wear a kilt into battle, those who would like to enlist in a unit that takes immense pride in following in the footsteps of the men of the 1st Battalion, B Company of The Black Watch Regiment (The Royal Highlanders). These men served with the British Expeditionary Forces from the onset of the Great War in 1914 to Armistice Day in 1918.
With Scout, Bomber, Pioneer, Lewis Gun and Motor sections, we immerse ourselves in the many aspects of WW1 re-enacting and have a solid reputation for authenticity in drill, uniform, weapons handling and safety.
Enlist Now! The pipes are calling YOU!
